Contributor Biography
Bert Archer wrote his first piece of paid journalism for Xtra, Toronto's gay and lesbian bi-weekly, in 1993. He later became the paper's books columnist, wrote another column for Toronto's other gay magazine, Fab, and wrote a book called The End of Gay (and the Death of Heterosexuality) for Doubleday Canada, which was also published in the U.S., the U.K., Italy, and Turkey. He now writes about travel for the Toronto Star, real estate for Toronto Life, and Toronto for Yonge Street Media, and is only gay in his spare time.
