Marc-André Gagnon is Assistant Professor with the School of Public Policy and Administration at Carleton University, and an expert adviser with EvidenceNetwork.ca.

Sergio Sismondo is a Professor of Philosophy and Sociology at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ont. His current research is on the political economy of pharmaceutical knowledge, focusing particularly on the industry's varied uses of medical research.
