Contributor Biography
Dr. Adams is Vice President of Probe Research. He is a graduate of Carleton University (Ph.D.) and the University of Manitoba (Hon. BA and MA). In 2004, he received designation as a Certified Market Research Professional (CMRP). He began his market research career in Toronto with Goldfarb Consultants and then moved to Winnipeg in 1997 to be Vice President with the Angus Reid Group (ARG), where he served until 2001.
He is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Winnipeg, where he teaches in the fields of politics and public administration, and at the I.H. Asper School of Business teaching research methods in the MBA program. He is a frequent guest for regional coverage and analysis on CBC as well as Global-TV News (where he also serves as an election desk analyst). His scholarly writings have appeared in Inroads: The Journal of Opinion, Vue: The Magazine of the Marketing Research and Intelligence Association, The Innovation Journal, and The American Review of Canadian Studies.
His latest book, Politics in Manitoba: Parties, Leaders, and Voters, was published in 2008 by the University of Manitoba Press.
