Contributor Biography

Ms. Langstaff is a writer and consultant based in Toronto. She helps clients in business, government, and the not-for-profit sector develop speeches, strategic documents, reports, and other written materials.

As a writer for Environics Research Group, she spent several years devising ways to express complex research findings to diverse audiences – from specialized client groups to the general public. In her own practice she works with individuals and organizations to conceive messages, refine ideas, and slay jargon.

Her writing has appeared in the Globe and Mail, Chicago Review, Toronto Star, Literary Review of Canada, and in two non-fiction bestsellers. She holds a literature degree from McGill University and a diploma in cabinetmaking – the latter irrelevant to her current work but attesting to a meticulous nature.
