Dr. Wagman is an Assistant Professor of communication studies at the School of Journalism and Communication at Carleton University, Ottawa. He has published in academic and popular publications on a wide range of topics pertaining to new media, popular culture, and cultural policy, with a particular emphasis on Canada.

He holds a BA (Hons.) from McGill University, an MBA. in Arts and Media Administration from York University, and a Ph.D. in communication from McGill University.
