Contributor Biography

Mr. Tootill is a native of Vancouver, British Columbia. After graduation from British Columbia Institute of Technology's Business program in 1986, he focused in the technology, real estate and finance industries in Ontario and California.

He returned to Vancouver in 1995 and (on a part-time basis) became the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Safety by Education Not Speed Enforcement (SENSE) – a not for profit society, founded to promote non revenue based traffic safety initiatives and oppose photographic traffic surveillance (photo radar). SENSE was successful in creating an awareness campaign resulting in the abolition of the photo radar program in B.C. in 2001. The group is no longer a registered society, however it operates an informational website. He was a supplier to the financial services industry in B.C. from 1995 onward, including eight years as Vice-President, Regional Sales, for a Canadian asset management company.

Since early 2007, he has been assisting public companies in B.C. to develop and execute investor relations programs.
