Ms. Calder is the host of the Food Network television series French Food at Home, and author of the cookbooks French Taste: elegant everyday eating (HarperCollins, Canada, 2009) and French Food at Home (HarperCollins, New York, 2003). Her food writing has appeared in publications including Vogue Entertaining and Travel, The Times of London, The Wine Journal, Salon.com, Flare, and Gastronomica.

She holds a MSc from The London School of Economics in the UK, a BA in western culture and civilization from Concordia University’s Liberal Arts College, and a BA (hons) in Linguistics from Glendon College, York University.

After a decade in France, she recently moved to Toronto – where she’s throwing a lot of dinner parties…
