Contributor Biography
Mr. Wood is the Senior Director of policy and markets at Sustainable Prosperity (SP), a research and policy network dedicated to the development of a green economy in Canada. He has spent the last 18 years working on environment/economy issues, in the private, non-profit, and public sectors.
He started his career with WWF in Washington, D.C., before moving back to Canada to run the National Round Table on the Environment and the Economy’s work on Ecological Fiscal Reform, and eventually acting as the NRTEE’s President and CEO. Before starting with SP, he also advised TD Bank Financial Group on the development and implementation of its environmental strategy.
He is a graduate of the University of Toronto and the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies.
