Contributor Biography
Mr. Gold is the Producer and Co-host of BusinessCast. He has practiced public accounting for over 20 years, including time with an international firm of chartered accountants. He has provided long-range strategy and short-term tactical advice to business owners and management in several industries including e-commerce, high technology, manufacturing, and not-for-profit. He is an active member of Toronto's business community.
He has served as treasurer of The Inventors Alliance of Canada and as a judge for the Canadian Inventor of the Year Awards for three years in a row. Robert has also served as director and treasurer of the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Canada, The Interactive Advertising Bureau, The Interactive Multimedia Arts and Technologies Association, and the eBiz Toronto Acceleration Alliance. He has been a guest lecturer at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario, University of Toronto, York University, McMaster University, Ryerson University, Seneca College, and Centennial College.
He was selected by Toronto Life as the niche accountant of choice for entrepreneurs and inventors.
