Chris Mitchell

(Former) Features Editor, The Mark News. Host & Producer, The Mark Radio.

Last Contribution: Spying on Canada

Contributor Biography

Chris worked at The Mark from August 2009 to May 2011.

At some point, he held just about every job The Mark had to offer - from news analyst to technology editor. All the while developing The Mark Radio, a current affairs show that was syndicated on 10 stations across Canada before its retirement in late 2010.

He has worked as a writer, host, producer, technician, and intern for CBC, AM980, CHRW, Rabble, and BlogTO. He now works as an online news editor at MSN Canada.

Chris is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario's MA in journalism program, where he specialized in radio and won awards for humorous writing and cultural journalism. He also has a BA in English Literature and World Religions from McGill University.

After teaching English in Tokyo for two years, Chris travelled extensively, SCUBA diving off the coast of Thailand and dining at the top of the Eiffel Tower, both of which taught him that the best things in life are, in fact, very expensive.

He realizes the best short bios end with a funny sentence, but unfortunately, he prepared nothing in advance.
