Contributor Biography

Dr. Nesbitt-Larking is a Professor of Political Science at Huron University College, where he is also a member of the Faculty of Theology. He obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from the University of Bradford, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from the University of London, a Master of Arts (M.A.) from the University of Kent at Canterbury and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from Carleton University.

He has written numerous academic articles and book chapters on Canadian and comparative politics, political communications, political identity, political psychology, and political sociology. Dr. Nesbitt-Larking is author of Politics, Society and the Media (University of Toronto Press) and co-author of the forthcoming Political Psychology of Globalization: Muslims in the West (Oxford University Press). He is a Visiting Research Professor at the University of Huddersfield and was recently elected to a three-year term as Vice-President of the International Society of Political Psychology.
