Contributor Biography
Dr. Montsion is a post-graduate research fellow at the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada, where he studies the political economy of gateway cities between East and West with a focus community politics. He obtained his doctorate degree in International Relations from McMaster University as well as a BA and a MA in Political Science from the University of Ottawa. His research interests vary from everyday life theory in gateway cities to trans-pacific labour migration, international education, and the Olympic Movement. He is also the symposium editor for the multimedia peer-reviewed journal Bridges: Conversations in Global Politics.
