Dave Ankney is Professor Emeritus of Avian Ecology and Wildlife Management, Department of Biology at The University of Western Ontario. His research and that of his graduate students was mainly on various waterfowl species including Canada Geese. He now lives on Long Point, near Port Rowan, Ontario, with his wife, Sandi, and his two Labrador Retrievers and they enjoy seeing Canada Geese during all seasons of the year.
