Mike Geoghegan is one of the foremost government and media relations consultants working in British Columbia today. In the 1990s he served for five years as a political Chief of Staff (Ministerial Assistant) to a B.C. Cabinet Minister in the portfolios of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food; and Small Business, Tourism and Culture.
In August of 1996 Mike went into business as a government and media relations consultant, and has delivered results to a diverse array of private sector, professional association, and First Nations clients. He is also a former President and CEO of the B.C. Construction Association.
A registered lobbyist in both Ottawa and British Columbia, Mike has also often been asked to provide political commentary by both national and provincial media and has been quoted in several published books on B.C. politics.
