Jeff Anders,
CEO (co-founder)Jeff has nearly a decade of experience innovating in companies and international organizations. He worked for five years at Mercer Oliver Wyman as a strategy consultant to executives of Fortune 500 companies. Later, as an independent consultant, Jeff was retained by Hewlett Packard in India to help launch a team of local PhDs to perform marketing analytics for Western clients. Subsequently, he worked with a software provider in Beijing to raise capital and plan its international expansion. Jeff completed a Bachelor of Commerce at McGill, a MBA at MIT, and a Masters in Public Administration at Harvard. You can follow him @jeffanders.
Craig Pope,
Vice President Client SolutionsCraig has extensive experience in advertising, global market expansion, and the consumer packaging industry. After four years in sales at Cadbury Adams, he joined Buchanan Group (BG), a third party branded advertising firm based in Melbourne, Australia. After two years covering Australia and New Zealand Craig returned to Canada with BG and expanded their business into the US and Latin American markets. Craig completed an international MBA from the University of Toronto and University of St. Gallen in Switzerland, and achieved his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Guelph.

Sean Liliani,
Video ProducerA Toronto native, Sean has returned to his hometown after two years doing an MJ at Carleton University and a summer working for WADR in Dakar, Senegal. Sean has a solid ten years of editing video and audio under his belt and is passionate about using modern technologies to improve the capacity of new media. As video producer at The Mark, he strives to create journalism that delves deep into the psyche of his subjects.
Nicholas Ward,
Business & Series EditorNicholas comes to The Mark with a strong background in business and global affairs. Armed with a degree in political science and international development from McGill University, he analyzed risk for a financial services company, taught kindergarten to Asian school children and worked on development projects in West Africa and South America, before returning to university to pursue a degree in journalism from Concordia University. He interned for The Suburban and the CBC both in television and radio. He produced documentaries about gang violence in Montreal and Canadian soldiers returning home from Afghanistan. Sara Murphy,
Associate EditorSara graduated from the University of Waterloo with an honours degree in English: Rhetoric and Professional Writing. She has worked in an editorial capacity for, among others, Rubicon Publishing and The New Quarterly: Canadian Writers and Writing. Sara enjoys tinkering with photography (though she claims no personal skill in the area whatsoever), loves to travel, and is passionate about all things literary.
Mike Barber,
News EditorMike Barber covered breaking news, politics, and internet culture for four years as a reporter and editor at Postmedia News in Ottawa before coming to The Mark, where he writes about the latest headlines when he isn't cursing under his breath about them. A Carleton University journalism grad, he's freelanced concert reviews for the Ottawa Citizen and has been known to bore people with geographic and historical trivia. Luke Bailey,
Associate EditorLuke graduated from Carleton University in 2010 with degrees in both Journalism and Film Studies. He's a jack of all journalistic trades, in the sense that he knows basic HTML, Photoshop, and video editing.
